Yata, a Solar-Powered house that requires no down payment, agent or legal fees. It’s prefabricated, fully sustainable, easy to install and maintain.
Yata, a house developed by Yata Technologies Inc. is a novel habitat born out of the need for affordability, sustainability and inclusivity. Powered by solar (in part or entirely), the house is built using existing shipping containers that are properly insulated from within and estheticized from without. The house is mounted on a concrete foundation for stability. Containers are joined, where necessary, to increase the square footage.
This solution is needed because 15% of the population in Neebing Municipality is native Canadian and studies show that at least 50% of the native Canadians in the area are struggling to afford a home and build equity instead of paying rent. The house has been designed for the indigenous Canadian population of Neebing and newcomers to Canada that have a limited credit history and face barriers to obtaining a normal mortgage.
Many of these folks are willing to move from Toronto to Thunder Bay, Ontario to take advantage of this opportunity. Yata Technologies Inc. owns 50 acres of land in Thunder Bay district, and has been in talks for months with the authorities to pave the way for this massive settlement.
Newcomers to Canada are our second target; they will be able to buy our houses with no down payment, no legal fees, no agent fees and no guarantors or co-signer required. We will only need a credit score above 700, one year’s timely rent history record and a stable income.
Our construction process will be used by our company throughout Ontario and licensed to builders in other provinces who would wish to replicate it throughout Canada. The Toronto Metropolitan University is expected to be a client and proponent of our technology through the Social Venture zone where our CEO is a student. Our CEO recently won the Dan McIntyre Human Rights Award for 2022 for championing affordable home ownership.
